Hiring a Buying Manager, His duties will include, but not limited to the following:
-Meeting, managing, assessing, engaging, and motivating suppliers.
-Developing and proposing exciting, relevant, and evolving themes and products
-Follow market trends to refresh, maintain and increase customer interest and engagement with products range
-Identify, assess and monitor additional information/data which could be used in decision making
-Plan, prepare and carry out BDA negotiations
-Prepare presentations for both internal and external use, taking into account market information, product performance, and commercial considerations
-Manage, develop and motivate a group of buyers and purchase officers.
Skills & Qualifications:
-Retail Buying experience.
-Effective leadership, motivation, and people management
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to plan ahead to meet deadlines with a high level of personal organization
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
– knowledge in various categories in supermarkets ( fresh food, food, and none foods.)
